The first three days after a wreck.
What we tell every caller, in the order it matters.
Get checked, even if you feel fine. Neck and back injuries often show up days later. A day-one urgent care visit ties the injury to the crash.
Photograph everything. Both cars, the street, the skid marks, your injuries and the other driver’s plate and insurance card.
Let the adjuster wait. You don’t have to give a recorded statement to the other driver’s insurer. Say you’ll call back, then call us.
Write it down tonight. The light, the speed, what the other driver said. Memory fades in a week.
The clock is real. In Texas you have two years from the crash to file a personal injury suit. Evidence goes long before that.
